  • Accumulated Cycles
This program calculates the number of stress cycles under a resonance for a swept sine test.
Knowing the Q (resonant gain) and sweep rate, it determines the number of stress cycles (for one sweep) accumulated while sweeping through the resonance.
Note : The half power point is approximately -3.01dB below the resonant peak (actually 1/√2 ).
  • Q related to resonant frequency
Using the mathematical function found in MIL-STD-810F. This program calculates the predicted Q of a structure (beam) related to frequency.
It will also determine the Zeta ζ (damping ratio) which is directly related to Q.
